What a lovely, clean, modern and comfortable cottage. Wheatlands in the charming village of Much Wenlock was an excellent base from which to explore this stunning county.. In the evening it was a pleasure to return to. There was nothing lacking. Thank you. We were sorry we missed the bin day. We had not seen the notice until we returned that evening.. We strongly recommend this beautiful property.

Lovely clean well equipped property. Lovely location for exploring the Shropshire Hills. Great little village, albeit a little sleepy. Perfect for a relaxing break. Highly recommend.

The cottage was excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen was very well equipped and the rooms and bathrooms just right. Outside the garden furniture and lawn were ideal and in a nice sun trap. Parking was directly outside the property and always available. A beautiful rural setting near super walks. Local shops, pubs and restaurants were top notch. Great quality. Ideal for short trips out to Ironbridge, Church Stretton and Cosford RAF Museum. Thoroughly recommend. Couldnt fault it.
Excellent thanks. Lovely cottage in a great location and fantastic amenities. Would stay again. Owner was very helpful and accommodating. 1010.

Great property in a lovely little town. Really enjoyed our stay. Only recommendation is that extra comfortable seating sofaarmchair in living room to make it more comfortable for all six to sit.
Lovely property in a perfect location but in our opinion would benefit from the addition of sun loungers, parasol and seat pads for the outside table and chairs.
Could not fault this property in any way, everything in the property is of top quality and it is situated just a short walk from the beautiful Much Wenlock with its excellent pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend
We had a very enjoyable week at Wheatlands which is a comfortable and very well situated property. It was an easy walk into Much Wenlock where there were a variety of shops and eateries. My husband in particular enjoyed the excellent variety and quality at the very popular pie shop. The countryside around Much Wenlock is idyllic and trips to Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury,Telford and Ironbridge a must to really appreciate the county. We dont usually return to properties preferring pastures new but we may seriously consider a further visit to Wheatlands.
This cottage is just perfect, the property is very wellmaintained, very modern and has everything you would need to make your holiday perfect. The beds are super comfy, and the two bathrooms are fabulous. The garden is lovely and very safe for little ones to play out in. The village itself is simply beautiful, you could sit in the square for hours with a coffee. Plenty of bars serving food, and cafs for a snack. Annie the owner was a text message away if you needed anything. A fabulous week away in a fantastic cottage.
Claire
A beautiful holiday home in the pretty town of Much Wenlock. The house has the Wow factor. It is spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The beds are very comfortable, ensuring a great night sleep. It also has a lovely garden with plenty of space to dine outside. We would not hesitate to return again in the future.
Catherine
Stunning property in a perfect location. Quite a find, somewhere large and accommodating so close to walkable amenities. Spotless and well thought out with everything needed for a perfect stay. The owner was in touch as and when needed and the chocolate, fizz and milk for a welcome brew on arrival were much appreciated.
We had a wonderful week staying at Wheatlands. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything you could want for a comfortable break. The location was excellent a short stroll into Much Wenlock with its pretty streets and cafes. The playground over the road was a bonus too! We also found lots to do in the local area with our three children, they particularly enjoyed the Ironbridge museums, as well as Hoo Zoo with its dinosaurs. All in all, an excellent holiday!
Kathryn
I would highly recommend a stay at The Wheatlands. The house is extremely well equiped and very comfortable, centrally located for all amenities and in a beautiful area. Cannot thank Annie enough for her hospitality and help with our stay.
The Wheatlands is quietly tucked away yet with everything within easy walking distance. The property was exceptional and provided exactly what we needed in terms of comfort, cooking equipment and a sense of luxury! The underfloor heating was a great plus! Thank you we had a wonderfully refreshing break and Much Wenlock is so pretty.

Lovely cottage. Very clean and comfortable with a fantastic garden. The village is peaceful and quiet with nice walks from the doorstep and a kids park across the road. Annie was amazing quickly responding to all messages and going out her way to make sure that we had a comfortable stay.
Fantastic place to stay very clean modern and in a nice quiet location would like to go back again one day

A lovely modern, spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable bungalow within easy walking distance of the centre of the pretty town of Much Wenlock. We found ample places nearby to visit during our week, including the very interesting museum and the abbey ruins in Much Wenlock itself. It was an extra treat that our stay coincided with the end of the Much Wenlock Festival when a number of local cottages owners opened their delightful gardens to the public. We enjoyed our visits to nearby Ironbridge and its museums, Benthall Hall, Stokesay Castle, and Shrewsbury, and Shropshire countryside is beautiful. Can definitely recommend both this excellent bungalow and its location.
Patricia
Excellent accommodation and location. Would certainly return sometime in the future. The area has much too offer for both walkers and those that love to visit villages and gardens.
This was a lovely property, done to very high standard with everything we needed. The location was great, close to the town and countryside and a good base for exploring Shropshire. Easy parking and lovely walks close by. Would book again.
Wow this Cottage is outstanding. Very clean and modern. Lovely comfy beds with high quality bedding. Modern kitchen with up to date appliances. Lovely clean, bright modern bathrooms. Lovely well kept Garden with slick modern paving slabs with table and chairs to eat al fresco. The Cottage is well situated in the lovely village of Much Wenlock, a short cut through the footpath opposite and you are in the village, with shops, tea rooms and pubs. Lots to do in the area, Ironbridge, a lovely town, with The Woodbridge in the next village Coalport in a beautiful setting by the river. Walks a plenty in the stunning countryside. The Stipplestones, quite a climb but so worth it for the amazing views, that will remain with me forever. Please dont hesitate to book The Wheatlands, you wont be disappointed!
Robert
A wonderful cottage furnished to a very high standard. Much thought has been given to the layout of the property and indeed nothing has been overlooked. The beds were very comfortable and everything throughout the house was spotlessly clean. We have used Sykes on a number of occasions and the Wheatlands was by far the best. The property was well situated to visit the many places of interest in the area. Annie was very thoughtful as she contacted us on day of arrival to say that we could arrive earlier if we so wished. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage and understand why it attains to 5 star. Again, many thanks Annie for a wonderful holiday. Robert & Hilary
Wow, what a fantastic cottage this is. The cottage is extremley well appointed, with very modern kitchen and bathrooms. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the facilities required are all covered. Annie was brilliant with communication, from letting us know we could enter the cottage earlier on arrival day to helping us with recycling arrangements, to feedback when we left the cottage. The cottage is perfectly placed in Much Wenlock for access to everything that Shropshire and Much Wenlock have to offer and believe me, it has tons to offer in things to see and do. If you are looking for a top quality cottage to use as a base for your visit to Shropshire, then look no further. With all this cottage has to offer and with the helpfullness of Annie you cannot fail to have a great time and be able to do it living in complete comfort. We have visited Shropshire many times over the years, but without a doubt, this cottage was the best.
Natalie
Really beautiful property, with everything we needed for a lovely stay during the Christmas period. The owner was very pleasant and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Definitely recommend the property although I wouldnt recommend Sykes at all as we were completely ripped off by the renting of this! We were charged in excess of 300 during a telephone conversation with a bad signal and refused point blank to investigate this issue. One price on the internet and the other during the telephone conversation. Very spurious company of which myself and my family will no longer be dealing with.
Very well appointed cottage in a great location. Everything brand new and in excellent condition. Beds were very comfy, kitchen well equipped, bathroom excellent and plenty of space throughout. Easy parking in front of the cottage. A short stroll into Much Wenlock, which is delightful, and a great base for getting around Shropshire. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend,
Frances
A beautifully presented modern house with excellent quality fixtures and fittings. Much Wenlock is a charming historic town with lovely independent shops and olde worlde pubs. The whole area is full of interesting places to explore, most notably Ironbridge. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would highly recommend this property.
Shirley
Wheatlands is an absolutely immaculate property, very comfortable with quality furnishings. There was only 3 of us to enjoy the property, which was great. Situated in a lovely location in Much Wenlock, great for walks and great for visiting family in Shrewsbury. Had a really lovely week. Owners very helpful.
Stephen
Great house in a fantastic little town. Locals are really friendly and always happy to have a chat. We made use of the great local pubs within walking distance and the lovely walks close by. Special mention must be made of the family butchers and pie shop, we took loads of supplies home with us. Visit Ironbridge, Shrewsbury and especially Bridgnorth for many interesting days out. We loved the area and will definitely return.
A delightful cottage well situated for an easy walk into the town. Additionally it was very well equipped with a super large kitchen, living and dining areas and three very comfortable bedrooms. The bathrooms and showers were great and a big advantage were the electrical sockets positioned just where they were needed. Any contact with the owner was promptly responded to, so all in all we've have a lovely week's holiday.
Fantastic cottage in a lovely location, perfectly located for a short walk into Much Wenlock where we had an excellent Sunday Roast. Wheatlands cottage had everything we needed, one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, superb showers and very well equipped kitchen. This is definitely on our list for a return visit.
This cottage is a fantastic base for exploring Much Wenlock and the surrounding area. Everything about the cottage was lovely and we would stay here again.
Michael
We really enjoyed our stay at The Wheatlands. Although we never met Annie she was very pleasant and helpful when we did make contact with her. We have 3 young kids and the garden was good for them to play in, and a playground and field just around the corner were perfectly local. We had several local days out which were good fun for all of us Ironbridge, Hoo Zoo and RAF Museum all recommended. A very enjoyable stay, thank you.
Amrita
We really enjoyed staying at The Wheatlands and were very pleasantly surprised with how much thought and attention to details were made for a wonderful 4 day stay. Everything and more was provided and Annie the owner was on hand if any issues. We would definitely like to come back!
