Bryn Cottage is a beautifully finished stone cottage in the Shropshire Hills National Landscape near Bishop's Castle. This rural retreat sleeps four guests and features a wood burner and contemporary interiors. The property joined our collection in 2024.

The cottage sits surrounded by green fields and peaceful woodland. A circular walking path runs through the grounds. Offa's Dyke Path runs nearby for serious hikers. The area offers stunning views along the England-Wales border.

Accommodation includes two bedrooms: one king-size and one super-king-size zip-and-link that converts to twins on request. The ground floor has a bright dining area, cosy living room with bay window, contemporary kitchen with underfloor heating and a separate WC. Upstairs you'll find a spacious bathroom with double walk-in shower and underfloor heating. Outside there's a hot tub on an elevated platform (available September to May) plus private enclosed gardens with patio and lawn.

Bishop's Castle (3 miles, 8 minutes) hosts one of Britain's oldest breweries. Clun Castle ruins (3 miles, 8 minutes) offer scenic picnic spots. Stokesay Castle (13 miles, 22 minutes) is a 14th-century fortified manor. Powis Castle and Gardens (19 miles, 32 minutes) features terraced gardens.
