Southside Cottage Reviews

Debra
We had a wonderful stay at Southside Cottage, it is rare to find a dog friendly property that is actually dog friendly, there are covers for the sofas and an enclosed garden which we felt was safe even for our spaniel, The owners have thought of everything, the cottage is very well appointed and a visit to the Pheasant Inn, only a short walk away, is a must, We will definitely return
Mark
A truly comfortable and relaxing location with easy access to all points of the compass. Time flies when you're having fun, and our holiday just flew by! A very well appointed and well equipped cottage that readily met all our needs throughout.
Sue
Lovely cosy cottage with very friendly owners. It also has a lot of extras to make it a lovely stay for dogs.
Janet
A clean and beautifully decorated home. Lovely downstairs shower room. Access to enclosed garden with ideal seating. Stairs may be steep for some but in keeping with the age of the property.
David
Comfortable, relaxing place to return to after days out visiting places of interest Very pleasant garden to sit in. Beautiful rural part of the country - the sort of area we had almost forgotten existed.
Mike
Excellent cottage, great position for the various walks in the area and dog friendly. Local pub very good beer and food and local shop a mile away should have everything you may need on holiday.
Gail
Lovely cottage with all mod cons. In the heart of the countryside, excellent base for Bridgnorth, Ironbridge and Ludlow. If you are taking your dog, everything is catered for, from blankets for the sofa to a dog wash and even a pet hair dryer. Little touches like the Easter themed decorations made it feel really special. Highly recommend.
Alan
Cottage was fabulous every thing you needed they had, bed was really comfortable and everywhere was spotless would highly recommend
Sandra
We had a lovely stay in this immaculately clean and very comfortable cottage. There was everything we needed with lots of little extras. The owners were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again if we are visiting the area.
Vicki
A lovely cottage! Perfect for a few days away with our Labradorâ??s to explore some of the beautiful Shropshire countryside. The owners were perfect hosts and couldnâ??t be more helpful to ensure everything met our needs. Would definitely recommend and return in the future. Thank you!
Lynsey
It's home from home. We were made to feel very welcome right from pulling up on the driveway. Absolutely loved the welcome basket of well thought out goodies and the treats for the dogs. I cannot speak highly enough. The bed was so comfortable I meant to ask what mattress it was as I NEED it desperately for home. Perfect
Karen
Lovely comfortable cottage. Owners very friendly and helpful. Amazing secure garden for dog and children too. Will definitely stay there again.
Jayne
Although there is a secure garden, it is not attached to the house therefore you can't leave the backdoor open for dogs/children to wander in and out.
Duncan
The cottage is nicely decorated and furnished. The owners Pam & Ian are nice and helpful. The Phesent Inn just a very short walk up the road is well worth a visit or two for a lovely meal or drink. We found the location of the cottage great for getting to locations in this lovely part of the country. Would book again and recommend.
Lisa
Beautiful quaint cottage so lovingly restored by a wonderful family. A fantastic welcome hamper. The cottage has everything you could think of needing for a nice family stay (especially in the kitchen lol) we usually bring things with us for stays like this but as we were just here for 3 nights we decided to â??wing itâ?? and Pam & Ian certainly covered all basis. Condiments, kitchen roll, foil, washing up liquid, good knife block, tea towels etc itâ??s the little things right?? Coasters for the tables
Sharon
A beautiful cottage in a quiet, small hamlet offering peace and tranquillity. The cottage is finished to a high standard with lovely furnishings and added touches like throws and cushions. Blankets and treats for our dog were an added bonus. Easily accessible to the Shropshire countryside and quaint towns, like Ludlow. Ian and Pam were very welcoming hosts. Thank you
