Stiperstones View Reviews

Amanda
Very nice apartment ideally located for walking and seeing the surrounding lovely sights of Shropshire. No uplighting, so star gazing was phenomenal. The apartment is warm and cosy, with a great shower and comfy bed. Its in a nice quiet hamlet which I appreciated, with views, wildlife and walks from the doorstep. I enjoyed my stay and everyone I met on site was super nice and friendly.
Elaine
Really enjoyed the holiday. Very clean and comfortable. Well placed for travelling around the area.
Good property in a good place for access to the area.
Carole
A great place to stay. Very comfortable, great location. Facilities were first class with everything we needed.
A surprisingly spacious studio apartment with beautiful views across the valley to Stiperstones. The bed was comfy, and the sofa and armchair were easy to slouch in. Internet access was excellent. Kitchen facilities and equipment ample for two. It's a great base for exploring Shrophshire and over the border into Wales. Hopefully, we'll be back soon!
Anthony Peter
One thing that would improve the property would be the addition of a washing machine in the kitchen. Maybe, taking the fridge out and putting it over the freezer and using the space for the washing machine? I know there were facilities on site but if we had stayed more than a week it would have been useful to keep things refreshed in our our area. We found the studio apartment very comfortable and enjoyed our short break in the beautiful surroundings.
A splendid location and comfy apartment for the hills and villages of Shropshire. Terrific views, and peaceful farming area. The nearby Bog Visitor centre and Stiperstones Inn are real gems. Spacious bedroom and lounge area was relaxed and comfortable.
Great base for walking in the area with beautiful views and everything on hand. The apartment manages to be light and airy as well as cosy and comfortable. Clean, uncluttered and welcoming space perfect for a couples getaway.
Stephanie
This is a wonderful property if you like quietness, walking on your doorstep and wonderful views. We have been many times. It is well equipped, very comfortable, good Wifi and very cosy. The only reason not to recommend it is that it might get too booked up!
I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. Comfortable and clean with a very comfortable bed. Walks from the door and easy exploration of the Shropshire and Welsh borders
Barrie
This is a beautiful studio, very well looked after and spotlessly clean. We had a very relaxing four days there, with plenty of places to visit around the area. Owners are very helpful. Beautiful views.
Stephen
Lovely, peaceful setting. Very happy in all respects. We only had a three day break, but would have liked to have stayed longer. Lots to see and do, especially if you enjoy walking.
Great property, quiet rural location everything we needed was available. Superb views and amazingly good weather!
Carolyn
We enjoyed every moment of our stay at Stiperstones view. Stunning scenery, clean and well presented property and watching the wildlife was a real bonus! Sofa was a little low for me but if that is the only thing I can complain about you know it was a great place! We will definitely be back again to this hidden gem. Thanks you for the hospitality x
My experience of the area may be a little different from others as I was there to recuperate after surgery. However, the cottage was very well equipped, clean, quiet and with lovely views. It was easily accessible for me, and the time I spent in the cottage was absolutely what I needed. Information was left that enabled me to do what was required and to use everything the cottage had. The cottage had towels, tea towels, all the kitchen equipment I needed the bed was comfy and the place was warm enough. It was very cosy, so quiet and such a lovely place. Had I been able to venture out more, I could see so many places accessible that seemed lovely. As it was, I did go as far as the forest on foot, and I saw this had views over to Wales, Snowdonia and Cheshire and Liverpool it was lovely. In the area of the village and forest, I saw no more than a few people!
Judith
A gem of a place with friendly and helpful hosts in a great location for getting away from it all. In fantastic walking country, both from the doorstep to wider ranging walks on the beautiful Shropshire hills and Welsh Marches. A tranquil, cosy and comfortable upstairs apartment to return to after exploring traditional, unspoilt towns and villages in the area, with plenty of excellent pubs nearby. Lovely view of the Stiperstones from the sitting room window adds to the experience of being in a special place.
Charlie
Friendly approachable owner showed interest without being intrusive.
What a superb property and excellent weather. We discover ted a real jewel here.
Stephanie
This is a delightful property and newly upgraded. It is quiet, with exceptional views and access to walks, cycles and right in the heart of Shrophire for access to places of interest. What makes it special is the welcome, with home grown vegetables, a herb garden at your doorstep and such a friendly host. Highly recommend staying here.
Stephen
Thoroughly enjoyable holiday in a lovely part of the country. We were well looked after and made to feel very welcome.
