A lovely cottage, with everything that you could want, including a great seating area outside with beautiful views across the countryside. Comfy beds, plenty of kitchen storage and equipment and great WiFi. We would definitely stay again if we were anywhere in this area.

Tim and Amanda couldnt have been more welcoming or helpful. Pear Tree Cottage is beautiful and comfortable. The views are outstanding and weve never slept so well due to the comfortable pillows and bed. Our dogs loved the garden as did we.

The cottage was much bigger than expected from the photos. Its location is amazing and offers fabulous views from many angles. It was incredibly well equipped, the owners have tried to consider every small thing to make the stay comfortable. There is masses to do in the area altho travelling can be somewhat odious down the narrow country lanes everywhere..BUT! we appreciated thats what you have to put up with if you want to be a little secluded and away from road noiseso it was fine really The hosts are magnificent in their communications and must rate as one of the best we have encountered. The measuring stick is would you go there again??....Too right we would!!! And will!

We had a great stay at Pear tree Cottage. As soon as we walked into the cottage we were impressed with the accommodation. A large well equipped kitchen, good sized bedroooms and bathrooms and a cosy comfortable lounge. Tim popped in to welcome us and suggested walks that we might do and places to eat. We appreciated the 'Welcome' pack. Plenty of room to park and a beautiful garden made the cottage complete. The cottage was perfect for our holiday!

We had a wonderful stay in this delightful comfortable and extremely equipped house. The generous welcome pack was a lovely touch and much appreciated. It was great to meet Tim who gave us some fantastic local recommendations. We loved driving through the stunning countryside, exploring the long mind, and heading up to the Stiperstones followed by a great pub lunch at the bridges. We also visited Ludlow and enjoyed a boat trip in Shrewsbury. We highly recommend the Italian restaurant the Riverbank bar and kitchen brackets located right opposite Sabrina boat trips and will definitely be recommending this property to others.

Lovely detached bungalow in a beautiful quiet location. Large secure garden for the dog with stunning views and plenty of off road parking. Bungalow is very well furnished, and equipped, and was spotlessly clean. A very generous welcome basket and a nice introduction and welcome from the owner upon arrival was greatly appreciated. Lots of walks on the doorstep and further afield. Had a wonderful week and would thoroughly recommend.

An absolutely stunning place. Comfortable accommodation all on one level which made things easy for my elderly mum. The location is magnificent with beautiful views across the garden towards a skyline of the Shropshire hills. Tim and Amanda couldn't be nicer hosts. We loved the whole week.

Weve just returned from an excellent stay at Pear Tree cottage lovely weather and a lovely place to return to after walks, and after visiting family and friends. The cottage is in such a beautiful situation with glorious views of the Shropshire skies and hills at the back. The property was in excellent and just what the four of us wanted plus 2 very well behaved dogs! The safety of the dogs was a concern but we no need to worry as the grass area was fenced i so that you could leave the dogs unattended. The owners were very discreet and only popped in if you needed assistance. Comfort was second to none, great decoration and enough cutlery etc to feed an army, none of this 4 spoons if there are 4 of you going which we come across in the past. Plenty of attractions to see and walks all within a 5 mile radius. A great holiday from Ian, Gill, Chris, Jennie and the 2 dogs Rosie and Stella

We absolutely loved Pear Tree Cottage. The friendly communication received from coowner Tim in advance of our arrival made us feel welcome before wed even arrived! The house was perfect for us in every way. Spacious, very warm, spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. It is extremely well equipped with many thoughtful details. The kitchen is fabulous & as we visited in winter, the Aga was on & I enjoyed cooking our meals in it, the first time Ive used an Aga! Luxurious bed linen, comfy beds & the quietness of the countryside made for fabulous sleep. Tim and Amanda left us a lovely selection of locally produced essentials & goodies which were much appreciated. We came with our 2 large dogs who had a great time. The garden was absolutely fantastic for them, large & fully enclosed. There are lovely walks in the area. We particularly enjoyed The Bog & Nipstone Rock circular walk which we did in the snow with incredible views in every direction. I cannot wait to return to this wonderful house, thank you Tim & Amanda for making it such a lovely stay.

Pear Tree Cottage was the perfect place for our early family Christmas celebration enhanced by being tastefully decorated for the season including the table being beautifully set it was so lovely to walk into along with all the thoughtful, personal touches such including welcome groceries and fresh foliage were greatly appreciated. Tim was on hand to personally help settle in on arrival and made selves available in a nonintrusive manner.. The cottage was warm, welcoming, accessible for those with mobility issues very comfy beds and generally very wellequipped. The surrounding landscape and vistas from windows is beautiful and so relaxing plus the night skies spectacular we even witnessed a meteor shower! We also enjoyed cooking for the first time with the Aga perfect beef joint and rice pudding! Thank you to Tim & Amanda for facilitating so many cherished memories for our family xxx

We have just returned following a very pleasant stay at Pear Tree cottage in Church Pulverbatch. The cottage was perfect for our needs and the care and thoughtfulness of our hosts Tim and Amanda was exceptional even down to informing us of a temporary road closure on the A488 on the day of our arrival. Hopefully we will be returning to stay here again in 2026 and look forward to exploring a little more of the area.

Great place to recharge your batteries! Very comfortable cottage and fully equipped. The location is ideal for various walks including from the cottage and for visiting different towns, like lovely Shrewsbury, and National Trust properties. Helpful and welcoming owners.

WOW!! What a beautiful cottage in a stunning location with views from every window . This place is faultless. The attention to detail is superb, the owners have literally thought of everything you could possibly need from utensils in the kitchen to board games. It is very well maintained pretty and cosy and our dog loved the well kept garden. Set in a location accessable to so many quaint villages and the most amazing nature reserves. Thank you for the warm welcome and thoughtful essentials we received on arrival including the lovely cut flowers from the garden. Overall we had an excellent stay at Pear Tree Cottage. It's a very spacious property with stunning views from the lounge and the bedrooms. There is a large enclosed rear garden, which our dog absolutely loved. The owner is lovely and nothing was too much trouble. She even left us some plums on the doorstep whilst we were out. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival with bread ,milk, butter and jam. There were even doggy treats for Max. There was a problem with the main oven and we could not use it. This was jotted down in notepad to let the owner know. If you're looking for peace and quiet, amazing starry skies and beautiful sunrisessunsets this place is for you. Total relaxation. Accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped felt like a home and not a holiday home. The views from the property are stunning. Although we did not meet the owners as they were away during our stay there was a lot of helpful information left for us and we appreciated the welcome pack. It was our first visit to Shropshire and we loved it despite the changeable weather. Ludlow and Ironbridge being particular highlights.

Just had a lovely week's stay at Pear Tree Cottage. It has everything you could possibly need, spacious, quiet and very wellequipped. When our scheduled Tesco delivery was cancelled, we didn't have to dash to the shop because Tim and Mandi had thoughtfully provided enough lovely local produce to see us through, it was much appreciated. The weather was incredibly warm but there were fans in the garage if we needed them. Hosts were available if we needed anything but not at all intrusive. Would definitely recommend the cottage.

What an absolute gem of a find! The cottage is fantastic, well appointed, clean, comfortable and a delight to be in. It is so so quiet the very occasional moo of a cow not withstanding!, that its a surprise when a car goes by! Its also incredibly dark at night, and a good nights sleep is guaranteed!! Which is great for star gazing too, especially with the fire pit going to keep the late night chills at bay! The owners are local, and are on hand should you need anything, and were absolutely fantastic. The garden and view are delightful, and importantly for us, was secure for dogs! We really hope to return in the future.

We absolutely loved our time at pear tree cottage. My friend and I took our young sons and they enjoyed running around the secure garden and had an amazing time. The area is very secluded and peaceful, with amazing views, and we loved sitting on the patio watching the sun on the hills. A big draw for us was the accessibility, as Ione of our party is a wheelchair user, and we found the property spacious and easy to navigate. The only downside was that we weren't able to book it for longer!

We cannot recommend this place highly enough. So glad we found it. Great location for visiting many Shropshire towns and villages. Lovely bungalow in the most gorgeous location with superb views. Well equipped property, couldnt ask for more. Very homely, Tim and Amanda have done a wonderful job making this somewhere you feel very comfortable staying. Superb welcome pack, containing local produce which was very much appreciated. And treats for our doggies too. Which they loved. Great enclosed garden for our dogs, which was an absolute must for us. We met Tim and Amanda and they were lovely. They live nearby and Tim brought us over a fan to help cope with the heat. We will definitely be returning soon. A big yes from us for this property.
