Clean, well provisioned accommodation. Great shower. Close proximity to nature supported by the conservatory glazing giving awesome views. Good parking. Friendly and helpful owner. Welcome Pack is out of date with some information not relevant. Very disappointed to discover that almost the entire pod is constructed from some form of plastic internal and external walls, floor, roof, decking, fencing etc. Fridge storage is affected by the missing crisper drawer and door shelf. Using the toilet is impacted by its locationorientation facing a very close storage cupboard little leg room and Im only 53! Toilet seat moves probably due to the need to sit at an angle. I enjoyed my time, but I wouldnt use the pod again.

It was absolutely wonderful to stay here. A really nice relaxing garden and a comfortable place to stay. It had all the facilities needed, a well equipped cosy kitchen, a nice shower room. Everything was clean and worked. I really loved sitting next to the pond and looking at the scenery. I would definitely book here again, its beautiful and close enough to the main towns too. For such a tiny space Pod 1 had everything I could have wanted plus more. The garden was idyllic & peaceful. Neighbours were friendly & the walks from the front door fantastic.

Jacobs Meadow is a lovely warm cozy pod. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by a new spacious conservatory that has been added to the property over looking the pond not currently shown in the website photos which added more living space to the overall footprint of the pod. This included comfy garden furniture and extra floor storage space for bags, coats, boots etc. We loved the comfortable fold down wall bed already premade with bedding! which was a very novel feature, and everything needed for a weeks stay is provided. A beautiful bottle of bubbly was on the table when we arrived making a welcoming arrival gift. The designated roomy car parking space is much closer to the pod than we first thought going off the current website photos which made life easier when unloading and loading the car. All in all a super building and incredibly romantic plus, our little dog loved it too. Well done Jacobs Meadow!!!! 1010

This is the best stay I have been and we traveling a lot. This little house have everything. First of all there were basket with sweets waiting for us. Clean bedsheets, comfortable beds. Fridge,Pots,oven, fryer, toster, cuterly etc. even blankets and toys for dog luxury Toilet with fresh towels and bags for dirty clothes, electric rail, TV, internet, even books and games and lot more. Heating is great. It's warm even in conservatory which is beautiful and romantic. Meadow is lovely,you wake up with beautiful view. I couldn't leave this place

We had an amazing stay at Jacobs meadow. The pod was so cozy and comfortable. The bed really nice, everything very clean and well equipped. The pond and that big tree was wonderful to look at. So peaceful. Even with rain it was great to sit at the windows just relaxing. Good wifi aswell. The owner Diane was super helpful helping us get to the property. Will definitely come back.

I had a really lovely stay at Jacob's Meadow. Check in was easy. The little cabin was brilliant. It was clean, comfortable and with everything you could need. The area was peaceful and beautiful, with access to lots of nice places for walking. I sent a couple of queries to the owners while I was there, and they got back to me and sorted things promptly. I'd definitely recommend.

Need to give better directions. Brilliant lodgecabin just so difficult to find.

What a little gem this is! The pod is a total home from home with the hosts having thought of literally everything you could need, even board games and old fashioned comedy dvds! On arrival the place was absolutely spotless . The box of shortbread waiting for us was a lovely touch too. The small space is maximised very cleverly and there was plenty of room for 2 of us and my huge dog! The setting is so picturesque and peaceful, just what you need on a get away from it all break. The little summer house at the top of the meadow is a great addition for POD1 as currently theres no undercover outdoor seating. We made full use of it, watching the wildlife in and around the pond. All in all a fab stay in a faultless place. We will be back!

There is literally nothing bad I can say about our stay. We saw the hosts a few times always friendly, helpful and really chatty. Our Pod was beautifully set in the countryside we got to see the sun setting, listening to the birds chat away and the sound of the stream was peaceful and calming. The Pod catered to all our needs, quiet surroundings, everything in it we needed, the beds were really comfortable, the shower was amazing and we always had hot running water.. It was warm and cosy. There are plenty of walking routes around the area and the hosts have a wonderful folder detailing everything you need to know about the Pod and things to do around the area. I will definitely recommend a stay here and gladly recommend to all my family and friends.

We stayed at Jacobs Meadow this weekend and we had such a peaceful time with our dog Narla. We just needed a break away and this was perfect. The only thing that was a negative was the amount of dog poop in the garden. I did try to pick up as much as I could. Obviously not the owners fault, its the previous people who would have stayed and not bothered to pick up after their dogs. But apart from that we had a brilliant time! Definitely would return.

Great little place. Very clean and tidy. Lovely grounds. Nice walks locally. I would come back. Important to note there is another pod in the grounds so you could have neighbours. Wasnt occupied when I stayed and no issue unless you have a dog that can react to other dogs which I do.

We had a wonderful little stay over Easter in this cute, little pod which we could only describe as a glamping experience! The hosts are really friendly, the grounds are beautiful especially in the evening when all the local wild life pop in! The pub around the corner was nice to stop in after a days walking, however they only serve food on a weds and fri and its only pizza! Stiper stone nature reserve is about a 15 minute drive away and is great for experienced walkers. The only negative which was an over sight on our half is that there is no cookerhob, but a hot plate is provided which was fun to cook breakfast on in the morning. They also have a lovely bbq set up which I would highly recommend taking food for! Overall it was a lovely break, thanks again!

We had a lovely chilled, relaxing week. The pod is fab with everything you could ever need. The dog loved the freedom too! Its in a beautiful location, the only thing to note is that there is no phone or internet signal. Very relaxing stay and I would definitely return at some point. One small gripe is the lack of WiFi. I couldnt get a phone signal in the area at all and WiFi would have helped if I needed to make contact. The area is very tranquil and easy to just sit back and relax. The pod had everything I needed for the weekend. Even dog blankets and bowls for the dog.
