2328 May 26 Had a fantastic family holiday 6 adults 4 children in this gorgeous barn conversion that sits nestled in the most beautiful scenery. It is so peaceful, all you can hear are the birds and the sheep that graze on the surrounding hills. The property has been finished to an excellent standard. Appreciated having a large ensuite bathroom for every bedroom, loved the walkin showers. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with every utensil you would need, and came with modern appliances. The indooroutdoor dining tables were large enough to seat us all comfortably at mealtimes. There was a lovely, safe garden area for the children to play in. During our stay the weather was very hot and the hot tub was an absolute blessing. There was a cupboard full of games, books and puzzles as well as an adult sized football table. Finally, the owner Huw was very friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. We would highly recommend this property to groups of any age. We all wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be coming back. 1010. The wifi signal was a bit hit and miss depending on where you were in the property.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful Welsh cottage! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is spotless, tastefully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches from the soft blankets by the fire to the welcome basket with treats. The setting is absolutely stunning rolling green hills, birdsong in the morning, and a sky full of stars at night. Its the ideal spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. We loved exploring the nearby trails and villages, then coming back to relax by the log burner in the evenings and hot tube. Huw was incredibly kind and helpful, making sure everything was perfect. You can tell they truly care about their guests. Whether youre looking for a romantic weekend, a peaceful solo retreat, or a cozy family holiday, We cant wait to come back! Thank you Huw!!!

Perfect location and perfect place to stay! All bedrooms are well designed and include an ensuite bathroom or shower room. Beautiful shared areas with plenty of room for our large group both indoors and outdoors. Owners were very helpful with queries including maintaining the hot tub. We want to stay again! A beautiful spacious cottage 10 of us with lovely views, and a herd of cows close which we loved seeing everyday. Loved the table football game, satellite tv and hot tub. Proximity by car to amazing walks around lake Vyrnwys waterfall and Saint Melangells church. Also loved Market street fish and chip shop 7 mins away. Half hour drive to Oswestry for supermarkets takeaways and shops. Hugh came by to check if any issues, a real gentleman, was a pleasure to meet. Like many rural cottages we had to control the annoyance of flies, but otherwise perfect.

Dear SirMadam, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Y STABLE. Unfortunately, several issues significantly affected the quality of our visit. Firstly, there was a persistent problem with flies throughout the property, especially in the kitchen area. The flies contaminated our food and drinks and were present in our bedrooms, making it difficult to sleep peacefully. Additionally, the television downstairs was nonfunctional for the entire duration of our stay. This was quite disappointing, as we planned to relax by watching TV or listening to music while spending time in the kitchen area. Furthermore, the shower drainage was slow, causing delays as we had to wait for the water to drain fully before the next person could use the shower. This was inconvenient and disrupted our schedule. Lastly, the dryer did not work properly despite running it several times, towels remained soaking wet. We reported these issues to the owner during our stay, but unfortunately received little assistance and no effective resolution. I hope you will take this complaint seriously and address these problems to improve the experience for future guests. I look forward to your response. Kind regards,

The property was a perfect base for us while attending a wedding locally. As 2 families the space worked really well with the added luxury of a hot tub and being situated in a stunning location. Already we have had requests from the younger members of the party to return. All in all a lovely weekend away.

We have just returned from a wonderful Christmas break at Y Stabl. Upon a arrival we were pleasantly surprised at the space and felt the barn was even better than we were expecting. The kitchen is well equipped and was perfect for socialising whilst cooking. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for our two families, with two rooms upstairs and two downstairs. The hot tub is a lovely addition to the whole experience. The location is perfect, so peaceful and absolutely stunning scenery. We will definitely return in the future.

Absolutely amaizing stay, we enjoyed every second of it, the house were super clean and moder and hot tub was a hit. And BIG Thank you to the owners who allowed us to stay a little bit longer on check out day due to broken car, it was a super nice and very helpfull on that day.

A great place. Bedrooms bathrooms location all 1010. Beds upto 10 people although kitchen not really ideal to use for 10 people but there is a bbq, jacuzzi, loads of space.

We had a great time at the property, it is lovely space with great views. We also found it in very good condition. The check out time is quite early, I also found the owner difficult to contact when I had a question about the bbq and what fuel it uses. In the end their was fuel provided for the bbq but I didnt know that and changed my plans around cooking Overall though these are minor criticisms and I would recommend the property and stay there again.

There are not many properties suitable for disabled parties. The bedroom and downstairs bathroom is great but could do with grab rails and shower chair to make it even better!

Great property in a beautiful setting. The house is a great size for us as a family the decor and amenities are of a high standard. My daughter uses a wheelchair and requires the use of a roll in shower. The two bedrooms on the ground floor have walk in showers with no doors. Whilst the showers were a little snug for a caregiver helping her, they worked for our visit. The host helped us in any way he could and was keen to have feedback on the accessibility of the property. A great stay and we hope to visit again.

The property was absolutely perfect. The beds were so comfortable and all the facilities you'd need. We really enjoyed the hot tub and going for a walk in the surrounding countryside on the allocated walking paths. We would love to return and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful trip in beautiful surroundings.

We had the best weeks stay. Absolutely beautiful house with a beautiful setting. Fully enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub looking around at the beautiful views. The sand pit and garden was perfect for all the children, we played many of games out there and the little ones spend hours in the sand. Everything we needed was within the home. Lovely places near by and the views on the drive are spectacular. We will be 100 booking again and bringing along more of our family to hopefully come stay with us. The host was absolutely lovely, so helpful. He always had time to talk and was polite and understanding.

We loved our stay and hope to be back. The outside area was fantastic and the kids enjoyed running around and playing in the sand. The bedroom set up was perfect for families. Communication excellent and we enjoyed exploring the area.

This was by far the most amazing staycation I have ever been on, the stable was beautiful and clean to a high standard. The little touches like the dressing gowns and board games made it feel like a home from home. We will definitely be back again soon. We booked this property as 4 couples celebrating a 40th birthday, and it was the perfect property! Location was lovely had a meal at one of the local pubs on the first evening, and we also visited the waterfall for a walk. The property was lovely and clean and had everything we needed the downstairs was the perfect entertaining area and the hot tub was fabulous, although not quite up to temperature on the first night. Would highly recommend and definitely consider staying here again.

Could not fault this beautiful cottage. The kids had an absolute ball playing in the grounds. Whilst the adults enjoyed a relaxing time in the hot tub. This place is amazing and exactly what you need for a get away from busy London. The accommodation is fabulous. Very clean bedrooms and bathrooms, Underfloor heating, smart tvs and a big jacuzzi. I highly recommend staying here. The host was very friendly and approachable. They also offered a welcome pack with loads of goodies. We had a lovely week at The Stable. The place is finished to an great standard. Even with the address not being on Google maps it was easy to find it with the postcode and signposts. We were really happy with it on arrival, it's peaceful and quiet. You don't hear anything from the other barns and the hot tub was lovely after a day out and about, the views from the barn are beautiful, stunning to wake up to! Unfortunately the kitchen wasn't in the best state when we came to cook on the first night, it was clean to look at but all the oven trays were greasy and there was melted cheese on one of the plates in cupboard which has stuck two played together, we had to wash most things before we used them and the kettle wasn't used at all as it was black inside, glad I took my coffee maker with me. The rooms were lovely, beds are comfy enough, we had issues with the underfloor heating not.working in some rooms and wouldn't switch off in others, not ideal in august. The bathrooms look great and it was nice to have separate bathrooms but the drains on the showers don't work very well, with in 60 seconds of getting in with the waterfall shower being on it's over flowing and flooding the whole room, we gave up and used the bath but not what you except and other couples in the other rooms didn't have the option of the bath so they were mopping up for ages after and rushing in the shower to stop it going under the door in to the bedroom. I would recommend staying here but with a warning about the issues we had, not the end of the world but not what you except when paying over 2000 either.

Superb holiday property in a beautiful location. A genuine rural retreat in private and secluded farm land surrounded by grazing sheep. Huw, who manages the property, built the stone barn conversion buildings himself to a very high standard. The property has all the essential amenities inside and plenty of space for everyone. Me and my girlfriends had the best time staying at the Stable celebrating our friends special birthday. You could not fault the accommodation , it was perfect in a idyllic location ! The owner, Huw came to greet us when we arrived, very friendly and attentive to anything we needed. The converted barn was at high standard with all modern amenities. Hot tub an added luxury ! Beautiful place and we will definitely visit again , highly recommended 5 star self catering accommodation.

Brilliant place the pictures on the website don't do it enough justice. It's was really family friendly every1 had there on suite bathrooms which was nice between are 3 family's. So privacy was nice an the living space was very open an comfortable. Would recommend for anyone with family's and friends.

Fabulous stay. Only thing is the sofa and seats in the upstairs lounge are rock solid, not comfortable at all, couldnt relax together up there which only left a few sitting on the sofas down stairs and the rest had to sit at the dinning table all night long, ended up going to bed early just to get comfortable. One of the ovens didnt work. Other than that we had a great time, and nice walks by the waterfall and Moel Sych. Owner was very friendly.

Weekend break for my Mums 60th birthday and what a beautiful place to stay. We were greeted by the owner on arrival and was nice enough to let us have a later check out. Cottage was well equipped, even little plates for the kids. Very modern rooms and bathrooms. The owner was very helpful before our stay as well, recommending local take aways and shops. We went to the Railway Inn for Sunday lunch, very nice and lovely staff. Nearest shop was 10 minutes drive away and a lovely fish and chip shop. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing stay, lovely cottage with scenic views. Would highly recommend.. The only thing which was a down fall was no WiFi, although some ok 3G spots outside & the lounge area upstairs.
