If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway then this is for you. No light pollution so very dark at night which makes falling asleep really easy. A lovely cosy cabin which all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Amenities within easy driving distance shops etc . Some very interesting places to visit nearby too and good food. Lovely friendly residents in the local areas and Sally Anne the owner of the cabin is a a pleasure to meet. There is another cabin located at the rear of this property but it is slightly offset and unobtrusive to your stay. Lots of birds and squirrels to keep you entertained if you don't venture out. A very enjoyable holiday.

Wonderful cosy lodge with a helpful friendly owner. It is in a great location for many trips and walks both in Shropshire and North Wales. Also in close proximity to pubs, takeaways, restaurants and supermarket. The verandah was a relaxing place to sit, whatever the weather, to take in the incredible views. The lodge was well equipped with everything we required and more. However, the Sykes listing would benefit from an update as there are now improved smart tv's and no dvd players don't buy dvds like me! We had a fabulous week and would love to return one day.
Although we had a lovely stay at the accommodation and had no problems with it the listing that we booked was not accurate. The accommodation was meant to be no children. You allowed us to book 2 adults 2 children. I only discovered the error the night before our trip meaning a very panicked conversation with the host took place making it all quite stressful. Luckily she was very amenable and put us at ease that it wasnt a problem despite it being against her usual booking rules we had a lovely time and would recommend the accommodation but wasnt very impressed with you as a booking company.
Beautiful, Such a peaceful little piece of Heaven We were hoping for a quiet break, and we got what we wanted in abundance. So comfortable, and clean, all the mod cons and then some. We enjoyed it so much, we are returning very soon.
Lovely cabin surrounded by fields ,ideal for pets and walks . It was very clean and comfortable and Sallyann the owner was lovely and welcoming, plenty of places to visit and are dog friendly .

Lovely cabin which has everything you require,so peaceful and relaxing had a nice chilled out week and feel totally refreshed. The cabin itself is ideally located to go and explore the surrounding area, cross over the border into wales and took the two dogs to the numerous country parks they had a lovely time, the cabin is in a big field so the dogs could come and go as they please mostly they went visiting the people in the other nearby cabin they also had a dog ,and they got on famously,Also sally Anne was lovely and on hand if you needed her, but I doubt if you will I cant fault the cabin. Would definitely recommend this place if you want a nice chilled holiday .There is a lovely chip shop in Whittington called the Whittington chip shop which is well worth a visit,it is only ten minutes in the car if you fancy a takeaway.
Great place, very peaceful.

The cedar cabin at Brynallt Country Park was beautiful. It was so comfortable and warm and cosy. The owner was lovely and always helpful. The cabin was well equipped everything you needed. The huge garden and meadow was a delight and our dog loved exploring. We can't wait to go back again. Just loved it totalling relaxing
We had a fabulous week at this lovely log cabin and thoroughly enjoyed having the place to ourselves where we could enjoy the peace and quiet and stunning views. We were unlucky with the weather but it didnt stop us getting out and about to enjoy Shropshire. The cabin was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything we needed in the kitchen. It was good to have a full size fridge and freezer too. SallyAnne was only a phone call away if we needed anything which we didnt as she had thought of everything. The only thing that might need improving were the showers which were rather weak but it didnt diminish our enjoyment at this property. Would highly recommend it! Thank you for a super stay.
Amanda
Lovely lodge set in beautiful surroundings. Ideal location to venture and explore both Wales and Shropshire border lands. Will definitely consider for future holidays.

This log cabin is amazing, a true log cabin. Everything you could wish for clean, good quality everything, hand soap provided, washing up liquid provided, all towels and bed linen smell divine. Well appointed and in tip top condition. Everything you could possibly need whilst on holiday a real home from home. Veranda is a great place to sit whatever the weather. The host is lovely and on hand immediately if required. Extremely helpful. Will be back soon we cant wait.
Catherine
Cant believe we found such a great place to stay at such short notice in mid summer. Very well equipped accommodation. Super comfy bed, we did struggle to wake in morning. So relaxed. Great space outdoors for our dogs too. Owner was extremely helpful and prompt to help when we contacted her.
Cheryl
The perfect place to unwind and enjoy the surrounding county side. The cabin is like a home from home, it has everything you need. It is clean and very comfortable. We absolutely love being there along with our two dog's. Time just went too quickly. We will definitely go back.
Lovely peaceful and quiet location BIG field for the dog to run around although not sure if it is totally secure. This didn't cause us a problem but be aware if you have Houdini dogs
Shirley
My dog refused to come home! Cedar Log Cabin is doggy heaven. As we had glorious weather the doors to the cottage were normally open and the dogs loved the freedom. My friend and I instantly felt chilled and relaxed and found the views stunning. The cabin is well equipped and there are are a number of small luxuries like dressing gowns. SallyAnne, the owner is friendly and went out of her way to help with issues like getting our online food order delivered to the right place.

Lovely proper log cabin in great location and ideal for the dogs who really enjoyed themselves. It was a pleasure to meet SallyAnn who was very helpful. Not far to walk down to the canal towpath which provided easy no navigation walking. Many thanks and hope to visit again. Rob & Julie
Excellent property and location. Nice and secluded, ideal for getting away from the hubble and noise from city life.
Cheryl
We had the best break you could have ever wished for. The cabin was just perfect for both us and our two dogs. Having the paddock exclusively was a key factor to having no worries about our dogs security. We loved it and shall definitely be coming back.
We had a fabulous week's holiday. With 5 acres of green grass field infront was just so peaceful. Bailey our dog loved it too. Everything you need is there. If you want peace and quite this is the holiday for you. Loads of lovely walks nearby. Aqueducts are a must. Chester and Shrewsbury great for walks and shopping. Enjoy!
Overall the log cabin was great. The facilities were as advertised. User manuals for the cooker in particular would be useful as we had never used that type of electric hob before. In the end we used the internet to give us the basics and it worked fine afterwards. We travelled with a 96 year old and some sort of plastic chair that could be put in the bath shower to allow use of the shower might be worth considering. We loved the position and access to the field which was great for the dogs. Loved the stay and the county of Shropshire and will be back in the future.
Carole
The location and level of comfort was very good we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would have given straight 5s however I had to remove a previous person's hair from the shower drain which somewhat put me off.
Alison
Very enjoyable stay place is done out wonderful. SallyAnne is a very nice lady, she came to introduce herself to us all. Nothing too much trouble. Area is peaceful and relaxing . Highly recommend this log cabin . Would love to return back another time. Have to mention the beds smell amazing very clean and fresh!! Just loved it
