Had a lovely stay at mossy lodge the views were stunning from the lodge,Ian and gaynor made us feel very welcomed and recommended some great places to visit, will definitely want to return again, thanks.
A perfect place to get away in a beautiful location. The first floor apartment is cosy and beautifully filled with all the things you need as either a place to hunker down at Xmas or a base for you to wander around the Shropshire countryside. Some beautiful walks right from the front door with our dog or loads just a short drive away. We went to Bishops Castle, a lovely old village and had lunch at a local pub. Our hosts were lovely and catered for us perfectly with lots of communication to booking in, local things to see and basically made sure all was good. Definitely recommend.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Mossy Lodge near Minsterley and couldn't recommend it highly enough. The lodge itself was absolutely perfect. Its a wellpresented and impeccably clean twobedroom lodge, which instantly felt welcoming and comfortable. It was a true homefromhome and a real credit to the owners. The absolute highlight, however, was the hospitality from the owners, Gaynor and Ian. They are genuinely the best hosts you could ask forso polite, friendly, and knowledgeable about the local area. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic stay. For us and our fourlegged friends!, the location was perfect. We had gorgeous dog walks right on the doorstep, meaning we had plenty to do and explore every day without having to travel far. If you are looking for a beautiful, clean, and peaceful getaway with exceptional hosts, look no further than Mossy Lodge. Place's to visit, Welshpool 20 minute drive. Has everything thing you need. Tesco , Aldi, fuel, McDonald's And definitely go visit Aberdyfe Beach, beautiful scenery and drive, a quiet beautiful place with soft flat beach for miles. The more you explore, the more you love this part of the country Thank you Darren

Everything we needed for our holiday. We spent 3 weeks in Mossy Lodge and we could not have been more comfortable or felt more welcomed. Gaynor and Ian left us some essential and treat provisions to start us off which was lovely. The beds were really comfortable and it was warm and cosy, especially as the weather had changed so much from the week before we went. Highly recommend staying here.

What a beautiful place to stay and unwind from the stresses of the world. We could only manage 4 nights, but had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was super comfy and very clean. The view from the lounge window amazing. spent hours looking out at the view and friendly cows in the adjacent field. Loads to do in the area, walks in the countryside from gentle manicured stately home and garden to rugged hills, lovely towns in the area and more. We had 2 dogs with us and the facilities were perfect for them with the enclosed outside area. We cannot forget that the hosts were great too! Hopefully we will be back.

Just returned from a wonderful week away at Mossy Lodge. Gaynor and Ian are lovely hosts, providing a well appointed apartment with it's own enclosed garden area to enjoy the far reaching views. We found the apartment very comfortable and we appreciated the little extras left to help us settle in wine, milk etc. There are so many walks to enjoy from your door, and Shrewsbury is only a 30 min drive away. All in all, a fabulous week away!
