The Powys countryside here is excellent walking and cycling territory. The Severn Way and Montgomery Canal are on the doorstep. The Lon Cambria cycling route passes the property. Red kites, buzzards and pheasants are regular visitors.

The studio layout features a pull-down double bed, sitting area with woodburning stove and electric underfloor heating. The compact kitchen has a gas two-ring hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. The shower room has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Two bathrobes are provided.
Powis Castle (National Trust) is a short drive away. Welshpool town and its railway station are roughly 8 miles. Montgomery with its ruined castle is just outside. Dolforwyn Castle is a worthwhile 13th-century stop nearby.
