We spent a very pleasant week at Conkers Cottage. It is very well equipped and spacious with comfortable beds. It is well located for visits to the Lond Mynd, Church Stretton, Ludlow, etc. The view from the top of the Long Mynd as far as Cader Idris and the Malverns was stunning. Despite the heatwave, the cottage remained relatively cool. We did not have any problem with flies, and although there was some major earthmoving work on the farm, we were not disturbed by the noise or dust. We hope to return in the future.

Very spacious cottage and clean and comfortable. In a beautiful location. Had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend. The only slight issue we had was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the downstairs shower room.

This is a beautiful cottage, well equipped and in an amazing countryside setting. Unfortunately, our holiday was ruined by the huge number of flies in the living area and kitchen. As well as being unpleasant they presented a health risk we had to constantly ensure that everything food and utensils were covered. The only help the owners provided was a few fly strips , a swat and a small UV lamp. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED !

The cottage is lovely, well equipped and the layout worked perfectly for our trip. We loved the working farm element but unfortunately during our trip we encountered building work which made us feel we were in the middle of a construction site from early morning until the evening. As we visited in the height of Summer the flies were also a huge issue, we couldnt open doors or windows and even though we were prepared for the flies,having read previous reviews it was an ongoing issue. The Cottage was also listed as dog friendly but unfortunately dogs are not permitted upstairs. This was an issue for our Velcro Cockapoo who is used to sleeping in our bedroom. This meant I spend the week on the sofa because our dog became distressed on his own in a strange place We loved the cottage itself and the area is breathtakingly beautiful. Shropshire is stunning and is somewhere we will definitely visit again

We had two wonderful weeks at Conkers Cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The kitchen has got everything you need, the sofa and beds are very comfy. The bed indeed was the best we ever had in a holiday cottage. The owners are very helpful. We would recommend Conkers Cottage to friends.

A lovely peaceful and comfortable place to stay. Very well equipped so self catering was easy. More comfortable outside furniture and a parasol would have been appreciated so as to further enjoy the wonderful surroundings and glorious weather. The back door wasnt always easy to lock unlock however this didnt detract from a wonderful stay. Ed was very welcoming and quickly came to sort out a problem with the TV. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend and hope to return.

Lovely hideaway close to walks in the wood. Although owners live on site there is plenty of privacy. Owners very helpful if needed. Conkers is beautifully furnished, comfortable and warm. Upstairs has plenty of room, lovely little room upstairs with a children,s area to play. Enclosed patio useful when sunny and ideal if you have a dog to keep secure. Access is good, with only last three miles being along narrow roads with passing places. Cottage in a great peaceful spot with lovely views. The cottage is much bigger than the website shows. Everything was spotless. Kitchen very well equipped and lounge furniture and beds great quality and extremely comfortable. Heating although electric kept the place warm and cosy even on low. The owners were very friendly and extremely helpful. We had a great stay and would not hesitate to book again in the future

We had a beautiful sunny week in the Shropshire hills, based at this very nice accommodation on a working farm. It is very spacious, spotless, and comfortable. There is a great deal to see and particularly outdoor things to do without having to go very far. So many wonderful castles, and pretty small towns with good places to eat. We enjoyed our holiday enormously and feel recharged needed, as we are trying to sell our house!

We loved our stay at this cottage. Its situated in a totally idyllic spot,surrounded by an expanse of green grass and trees. My sister and I love to do a short run in a morning,and this place perfectly suited our needs. The cottage itself was comfortable and spacious.The owners were very friendly and helpful. We loved that there were walks from the cottage too.

Conkers cottage was clean and comfortable. On arrival the upstairs was very cold, it was January and during a very cold spell but as soon as we turned up the heat we warmed up. Fantastic walks from the property. Kitchen was well equipped.

Lovely comfy beds and sofas all very clean. If you have a dog you can only walk up the lane,which is very muddy as there is only a patio.would be lovely in dry weather.Dogs are not allowed upstairs,notice on the door. There is no phone signal but we did manage to catch the owners with a problem and the man was very efficient in dealing with it. Would come back in better weather,only came in February as meeting up with our 2 year old dogs sisters.

This is a beautifully furnished and equipped holiday cottage set in a lovely location. As warm and cosy as you want to make it. We arrived in wet weather but when we entered through the boot room, well we called it that, we were able to hang our wet clothes up to dry. There was even a hose outside so we could wash our muddy boots, and the dog, before we came in. Lovely welcome pack of wine and cake. We really wanted to stay forever!
